Late Singer Eric Arubayi died after taking Expired Malaria medicine, His Brother Reveals
Derrick, brother of dead singer Eric Arubayi has revealed that his brother Eric died after taking expired malaria pills. The singer died on Saturday February 11 after a brief illness, speaking to vanguard his brother Derrick said he was having typhoid and malaria which was left untreated, he then tooked the expired malaria medicine which resulted in his death.
“The only thing that we had to say is that he lived for Christ Derrick was quoted as saying. We just want the world to know that the name Eric Odafe Arubayi was for a reason beyond the West Africa Idol show. For that reason, God would make manifest even beyond his glorious ascension.” he added.
The singer who is rumored to be around 32-33 years of age reportedly died at the Delta State University Teaching Hospital (DSUTH).
